C&rsquo;est un colorant tr\u00e8s puissant qui a d&rsquo;abord \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour teindre le coton.  <\/span>Peu de temps apr\u00e8s sa d\u00e9couverte, il s&rsquo;est av\u00e9r\u00e9 que la substance ne colorait pas seulement les textiles, mais qu&rsquo;elle enrichissait et colorait \u00e9galement de mani\u00e8re s\u00e9lective les structures biologiques &#8211; notamment les composants cellulaires, les cellules nerveuses et les bact\u00e9ries. C&rsquo;est ainsi que commen\u00e7a la carri\u00e8re du bleu de m\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne en histologie et en microscopie, o\u00f9 il est encore utilis\u00e9 aujourd&rsquo;hui comme agent de contraste. <\/p><p>Avant m\u00eame le d\u00e9veloppement des antibiotiques ou des th\u00e9rapies antivirales modernes, le bleu de m\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne \u00e9tait utilis\u00e9 en m\u00e9decine, notamment pour le traitement du <b>paludisme<\/b>. En fait, il s&rsquo;agissait de l&rsquo;un des premiers m\u00e9dicaments synth\u00e9tiques de l&rsquo;histoire de la pharmacie moderne.  Dans les ann\u00e9es 1890, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 avec un succ\u00e8s consid\u00e9rable contre les agents pathog\u00e8nes du paludisme, bien avant que <b>la chloroquine<\/b> ou les agents modernes (tels que le MMS &#8211; <b>dioxyde de chlore<\/b>) ne soient disponibles.  <br><br><b>D&rsquo;ailleurs, la chloroquine et l&rsquo;hydroxychloroquine sont bas\u00e9es sur la MB.<br><br>Que ce soit pour optimiser le corps des personnes en bonne sant\u00e9 (biohacking) ou pour traiter les maladies, le bleu de m\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne a une port\u00e9e fascinante.
